Elizabethan 23
This is the smallest of the Peter Webster-built range of Elizabethan yachts and was designed by Webster and David Thomas in 1969. She is a particularly pretty design, looking like a scaled-down offshore cruiser racer of her day with long overhangs but a lifting keel. She is very stable but can also be quite quick in a decent breeze. A Mk II came out in the mid-1970s and raised headroom by 6in to 5ft and introduced other improvements to the four-berth interior. Inboard and outboard models were built and some early models were home completed.
